Land-based Studies

Students gain City and Guilds qualifications in Land-based Studies at level 1 and 2.

Animal Care Courses

We offer students to opportunity to gain a Animal Care Certificate. The course covers three prime units-

  • health and safety
  • food and water
  • maintaining and cleaning equipment

Outdoors at the Bridge we currently have pigs, sheep, ducks and chickens.

We have a range of indoor animals these include dogs, gerbils, guinea pigs, fish, bearded dragon, snakes, birds and a hamster.

Many students from primary, secondary and bespoke including those who are not doing a qualification in animal care can be involved in feeding, cleaning and caring for the animals.
